1. WHY SHOULD WINDOWS BE UPGRADED?

A National Geographic special report, of February 1981, stated single-pane windows and doors are the worst culprits for both hot and cold air loss. Every 35 square feet of single pane glass is equivalent to a one square foot hole in a wall. The average home has over 150 square feet of glass. Dual-pane windows provide a layer of cushioned air between the outside and the interior of the home reducing energy loss. All of the windows and doors that Newpane.com install have the added benefit of Low E coating which cuts down on energy losses.

2. WHAT ARE THE OTHER BENEFITS OF UPGRADING MY WINDOWS?

3. WILL CURRENT DRAPES OR BLINDS FIT?

As dual pane windows are thicker than single-pane windows some modifications may be necessary.

4. WILL INSTALLATION CAUSE MAJOR DISRUPTION?

For a standard contract of 8 to 10 windows installation will normally take one day.

5. WILL STUCCO BE DAMAGED?

In 95% of jobs we have installed no stucco damage was noted. Occasionally a small area will be chipped off. This will be repaired by your Newpane.com crew.

6. WHO DISPOSES OF THE OLD WINDOWS AND CLEANS UP AFTER THE INSTALLATION?
